Library Card Information
Library access cards are available to personnel at the following institutions:
- Marine Biological Laboratory
- Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution
- Woodwell Climate Research Center
- Sea Education Association
- USGS Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center
- Woods Hole Laboratory - Northeast Fisheries Science Center - NOAA
Depending on a user's privileges, the MBLWHOI Library card can include the following services:
- Access to the physical collections in Lillie, including after hours
- Access to the physical collections in McLean (Data Library & Archives)
- Book borrowing, including book delivery requests
- Interlibrary loan
- Remote access to e-journals and databases via the proxy server
Cards are printed and issued at the Swope Building on the MBL campus, Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. Please bring a driver’s license or a photo-ID when picking up your access card.
